(l. to r.) WCG team Lydia Wychrij, Elizabeth Lombardo and Peggy Wilson help giveaway toys to more than 1,200 children this holiday season.

Earlier this week, Wilson Creative Group founder Peggy Wilson and staff members Elizabeth Lombardo and Lydia Wychrij, along with more than a dozen Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) board members, joined Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves to deliver new toys to children at Shadowlawn Elementary School as part of CBIA’s annual Toy & Joys for Girls n’ Boys. Overall, CBIA members delivered donated toys to more than 1,200 children at 20 drop-off locations — the largest turnout in the program’s 18-year history. “Seeing the children’s faces light up when they received their gifts brought great joy,” says Peggy. “The miracle of Christmas was repeated over and over again through the joy of caring and sharing.”

Shadowlawn students choose favorite Christmas toys, with Barbie the clear favorite.
