Quest for Success, a college preparatory program in Naples, celebrates its 25th anniversary since opening in 1993.
In 1993, local businessman Tad Dekko and local educator Gene Oliff founded the Quest program. They began with only ten students, but now 25 years later, Quest has assisted over 1,000 students achieve their goal of attending college and ensuring a future of limitless achievement. As a result of the collaborative efforts of these two gentlemen, 100% of Quest participants are accepted into college.
Sue Zumstein, Executive Director of Quest for Success, has been with the program since 1996. She has been instrumental in the overhaul of the program, establishing a rigorous curriculum, and maintaining close relationships with college advisors around the country. “It has been a great joy to see the Quest program grow and thrive over the past 20 years. Realizing we have now assisted over 1,000 kids get accepted into college is fantastic proof of our passion for helping deserving and ambitious students,” adds Zumstein.
Quest’s mission is to foster economic freedom through education by empowering students to reach their highest potential through lifelong learning. The program has certainly followed through on this mission, having placed over 1,000 students in highly ranked institutions across the country.
