AQUA at Pelican Isle announces two new tower model residences, decorated by Antonacci Design Group and Renee Gaddis Interiors are now open and available for tours (by scheduled appointment only) in the soon-to-be completed and highly amenitized luxury boutique marina and waterfront high rise condominium adjacent to Wiggins Pass in Naples. A third furnished model by Beasley & Henley Interior Design is planned to be open by the end of March according to AQUA Director of Sales Darline Hillard.
Multiple winner of the prestigious Aurora Award for interior design for luxury resident condominiums, designer Jerilyn Antonacci, ASID, created what she calls a “California Retro Contemporary” interior design for AQUA’s #301 tower residence model. Known for her tailored, cultured interior schemes that accentuate comfort with a great sense of style and proportion, Mrs. Antonacci’s AQUA design concept melds the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age with contemporary livability.
“I studied at the Design Institute of San Diego, so I have been strongly influenced by California Retro Contemporary design,” explains Mrs. Antonacci who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design and is licensed by the Florida State Board of Architectural & Interior Design, and a certified member of the National Council for Interior Designers (NCIDQ). She brings more than 30 years combined professional experience in residential and commercial interior design to AQUA.
Taking inspiration from the waterfront marine basin that sits at the foot of the AQUA property, Mrs. Antonacci said she was clearly motivated by AQUA’s sleek and sophisticated architectural forms and lines.
“Crisp, clean shapes with an Old Hollywood-feel are expressed in rich woods, luxurious fabrics and refined finishes,” she describes. “I followed the sensuous curves of the building’s architecture when furnishing the interior,” she adds, noting key style features such as a panoramic window wall, an impressive curved floating ceiling and the extensive use of lacquered built-in cabinetry.
Choosing a light color palette of warm greys and natural tans, Mrs. Antonacci mixed in metals like satin brass, oil-rubbed bronze, steel, gilded gold and polished chrome, seamlessly blending chic and sexy. Natural Wegne wood is used throughout the bathrooms and kitchen to complement lustrous white lacquered cabinetry. Polished stone in grey and taupe combine with oversized white polished glass and very wide dark plank wood offset a variety of textured metallic-threaded wallpapers throughout the model.
The 4,171 square-foot under air floor plan includes three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a grand salon, living room, family room, study, island kitchen with breakfast nook, balcony and terrace space totaling 530 square feet and private elevator foyer.
Renee Gaddis, NCIDQ, ASID, designed the interior for tower residence #303.Ms. Gaddis chose a California Coastal motif spurred on from nature and the nearby Gulf of Mexico. “The main gathering spaces have been opened up to create fun and inviting areas,” explains Ms. Gaddis. “The wood flooring is an oak with wire brush technique applied to it. Several of the wood furnishings and built-in cabinets complement this unique flooring,” she adds. The 3,940 square foot under air floor plan includes three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, den/family room, dining room, gourmet kitchen with butler’s pantry, grand salon plus 633 square feet balcony and terrace spaces and a private elevator foyer.
Renée Gaddis Interiors is a full-service residential interior design firm based in Naples, FL. Ms. Gaddis has been designing Southwest Florida’s finest luxury homes and condominiums since 1999. Recently her work was recognized by the Collier County Building Association (CBIA) by receiving several Pinnacle and Sand Dollar awards and took top honors this year winning a Grand Aurora award for her work at Moraya Bay.
Beasley & Henley Interior Design, led by Troy Beasley and Stephanie Henley, ASID, was specifically selected by AQUA to create a traditional with modern influences interior design for tower residence #304 to reflect the area’s demand for upscale, urban residences and to take advantage of the abundance of natural light afforded by the 4,131-square-foot under air floor plan’s western exposure and expansive windows. The floor plan includes three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, den (or optional fourth bedroom), family room, dining room and grand salon in addition to 609 square feet of covered balcony and terrace spaces, outdoor dining and conversation areas, and a terrace off the owner’s master suite.
Inside, the private elevator lobby opens to a wide gallery hallway leading to a powder bath and a gourmet kitchen with a large island with bar stool seating.
