Sales and marketing veteran Kristian Lodge has joined Wilson Creative Group (WCG) in the newly created position of Director of Client Development according to Peggy Wilson, CEO and founder of the award-winning Naples-based advertising and public relations agency.

Lodge will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and offering support and guidance to both new and existing clients. “As result of our agency’s continued growth and current clients’ demands, WCG added Kristian to our team,” says Ms. Wilson. “He brings more than 20 years successful sales and marketing experience with strong knowledge of the business development process to serve WCG clients,” she continues. In his new role, Lodge’s key responsibilities are to identify, prospect and secure business opportunities to support new revenue growth, Wilson adds.

Additional responsibilities involve developing and implementing sales strategies for new account prospects and growth opportunities as well as identifying prospects and developing sales strategies to secure profitable new business. This includes sales/solutions calls, networking, marketing activities, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals and client meetings.

Lodge will work closely with the internal WCG team and external partners to strategize and build pipelines of quality solutions, identify opportunities with prospective clients, and leverage existing client relationships to expand services.

Born and raised in London, England, Lodge is the only son of bass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter John Lodge of the legendary rock group The Moody Blues. A graduate of The Oxford Business College with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the United Kingdom Institute of Marketing, Lodge began his marketing career working with his father’s record label where he promoted special events, produced albums and toured with the band. Before joining WCG, he spent several years in radio and television advertising sales in Southwest Florida where he was recipient of many prestigious awards including several President’s Club Awards, the Gabriel Media Trailblazer and Top Producer Awards and the $1.0 million Billing Achiever Award.

Before relocating to Southwest Florida 12 years ago, he thrived in business development for a video and digital production company in Los Angeles and London, and also worked at an advertising agency managing notable international clients such as British Telecom Cable TV, NEXT clothing and Kerrygold dairy products.

Lodge is a member of the Naples Chamber of Commerce, the Collier Building Industry Association and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has been recognized by the community for his support of the Celebrity Martini Glass annual event to raise funds PAWS Assistance Digs, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes independence for combat wounded veterans and children with life-changing disabilities through partnerships with skilled assistance dogs) and annual volunteerism for The Invictus Games — an international adaptive multi-sport event, created by Prince Harry, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in competitive sports. A former member of the active Army Reserve, Lodge is a keen advocate and supporter of numerous veterans charities.
