John R. Wood Properties Broker Associate Cheryl Turner named First Female President of The Moorings Golf & Country Club

On Monday, December 7, Cheryl Turner was elected to serve as the first female president of the Moorings Golf and Country Club. Located at 2500 Crayton Road and founded in 1963, it is one of the City of Naples’ oldest private clubs.

“In addition to working full-time as a top producing real estate agent for John R. Wood Properties, Cheryl has volunteered her time over the past few years as the Director of the Marketing Committee prior to being elected the President of the Club,” said The Moorings Golf and Country Club’s Chris Rockwell, PGA, Membership and Marketing Director. “We appreciate her continued dedication to the success of the club and are looking forward to the future.”

Turner is a Broker Associate with more than 30 years of experience in the luxury real estate market. She has earned numerous designations including Certified Sales Negotiator and Certified Residential Broker. She has served on the Legal Resources Committee and the Broker Committee for the Naples Area Board of REALTORS, and has served with many community organizations including the Humane Society Naples, Baby Basics of Collier County, Naples Cat Alliance, Naples Community Hospital, National Alliance on Mental Illness (Collier County), and as past moderator at the Naples United Church of Christ. Originally from Southington, CT, she has been a full-time Naples resident since 1990 after visiting monthly since 1984.
